Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

We want your experience at Hot Rocks to be relaxed and enjoyable, so here’s everything you need to know when you book a table with us.

Table Sizes & Large Party Enquiries

At this time, we are only accepting online bookings for groups of up to 6 guests.

For larger groups (7+), please email us at [email protected] and our team will be happy to assist you.

If you're booking for 10 or more guests, we kindly ask that you complete our food pre-order booking form at least 48 hours before your reservation. This helps us ensure smooth service and a great experience for your whole group. You can find online form here.

Where You'll Be Seated

All lunch and dinner reservations are made for our ground floor ‘Beach’ restaurant.

Our terrace tables can be requested when booking but are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Please note:

• We are not currently taking bookings for drinks only.
• Our first-floor ‘Ocean’ lounge and cocktail bar remains closed.
• Tables are allocated based on the number of people in your party – including babies and toddlers – due to limited space.

Holding Your Reservation

We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes after your booked time. If you're running late, please call us on 01202 555559 as soon as possible.

Securing Your Booking

To confirm your reservation, we require card details. These are securely stored using our PCI-compliant Payment Gateway.

A non-refundable deposit of £5 per person will only be taken if:

• You do not arrive for your booking (a 'no-show'), or
• You cancel with less than 6 hours’ notice
  Cancellations must be made via our email address ([email protected]) only – we’re unable to respond to cancellations sent via social media.

Service Charge

An optional 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill. This helps us reward our team for their hard work and hospitality.
